some issues detracted from the stay
poor locationoverall dirtiness
the location was not ideal. the roads around the hotel were in poor condition. i found the hotel to be quite dirty. i couldn't stay the first night because of this, and i have a serious lung condition. i ended up paying for another, more expensive hotel because of it. i asked for a refund for the remaining nights, but they refused.

mixed feelings about this stay.
dirty socksannoying location
The location was a bit of a letdown. It felt quite far from everything. trying to get around without a car was annoying. also, the room wasn't as clean as i expect. My socks were constantly dirty. there wasn't much sound isolation so all nights i heard noises.

The staff was very professional (i really appreciated their attention to detail). the infinity pool overlooked the treetops and was very calming. i also enjoyed the bike rentals. It worked well for me .
The location was a bit far from the town. It was somewhat limiting when i tried to decide where to eat as most restaurants were a walk away.

moldy cushionscold food
my stay had issues. i noticed MOLD on the bed cushions and requested a change. the in-room dining felt VERY overpriced. also, the food arrived cold and did not meet expectations.

the rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. beautiful decor included natural materials. the restaurants, copal gastro and kokoro, were great, i liked the ambience. someone was always available to assist, this included fast delivery for all food.
the rooftop pool was small, and the glass balustrade seemed a bit wobbly.

reception booked beach clubs, taxis, and excursions, this helped streamline my travel plans. staff members were helpful. they were friendly and accommodating to any needs or requests i had .

two restaurants provided different food options. the food was delicious in both restaurants. i enjoyed the variety and quality of the meals, it was something special, it was definitely nice.
